Tried a bit of Halibut fishing between Cow Island and Calf Inlet, as I had read somewhere they can be caught there. It was pretty shallow and we had no success, so I am not sure if it was a bum steer, and bad day, or lack of skill.
We took the dinghy over the Duncanby Landing in the evening and had a nice dinner out on 'the Ravens Nest', their deck that overlooks the bay and islands. Even though it was a bit cloudy it was a very beautiful evening. Duncanby has dock space for visiting boats and though we didn't enquire about the price those on the docks were very happy and said it was a great stop.
